I am involved with a woman for the past twelve years. She insult me in the most vile terms in front of friends and strangers. She is a alcoholic but refuse any help. I have tried talking to her and was chased out of her house( which we share) to sleep under a bush and that at the age of 70. I have nowhere to go and cannot find employment I am totally destitute
If it was not for my sons I would have ended this life. I ask every day the whole day for the Lord to help, but in vain.
Peter, it’s been a year since you posted here, the fact that you were led here to share your testimony confirms God is working on you and within you. Your prayers have not fallen on deaf ears, so they’re not in vain. I pray the holy spirit touches your heart & your life in such a way that you know without a doubt that the Father is listening & he is working things out for your good, and his glory. Keep praying, offer up a sacrificial praise, thanking God for what he has already done, for what he’s doing right now, and will continue to do in the name Lord Jesus Christ from whom all blessings flow. I pray your wife is getting the help she needs to overcome her demon’s in her addiction to alcohol, no one deserves abuse. No one. Love is patient and kind, love gives freely without reservation, but the most important love is self love. I believe Christ had already begun a great work in you when your partner kicked you out of the home the two of you shared. The second blessing from God was when your 2 sons took you in & gave you shelter. Nobody said it would be easy,, but I don’t believe he brought you this far to leave you.. God provides our every ‘ need’ [singular] according to the riches of his glory, and his will & purpose for our lives. Keep praying, hoping and praising. Don’t give up and allow the enemy to win. That’s what the enemy wants, for you to quit. Quit on God. If the enemy had not already peeked into your future to see all God has in store for you, he would have left you alone. The enemy doesn’t disturb the souls he’s already won, just the ones God has greater in store for their lives. Consider this your test, a test of your faith. If you haven’t already gotten down on your knees in prayer petition, do it right now. Or simply raise your eyes & lift your hands heavenward, and tell God, thank you. Thank him for his that us so amazing, thank him for his love, his guidance and protection. The person who didn’t wake up this morning could have been you. ??. In closing, I pray God grants you peace fir your mind, healing for your soul, and the strength to endure this race. It’s in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
