How timely. I’ve been dealing with a spirit of failure, after being backslidden for 22 years and then being severely attacked, damaged and almost destroyed by the enemy, and little by little Jesus has been putting me back together again. What you said about letting God determine our goals in life is so right on for my life, because i did the opposite for so long and failed at almost everything i did…i don’t have much to show for my life but I’ve given it back to Christ and put my trust and hope in Him everyday with incredible miraculous results. Success is doing what God wants you to do, and being about our Father’s business, because the rewards are eternal, whereas this world is only temporal. Pro 11:30 “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.”
one thing about people is sometimes they try to be holier than God. they will pass judgment on you that God doesn’t pass. When God says that He forgives our sins and throws them as far as the East is from the west and remembers them no more, they are the very same things that people will not let us live down.. Nobody has a right to hold against us, anything, that God has forgiven you or I, for, not even you or I have that right..
